      Introduction-                Welcome to all of you in today's article. Today we are going to travel in Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra of Odisha. Odisha is known as the land of Lord Jagannath (Lord of the Universe). In july 12, 2021, people of India is going to celebrate Jagannath Rath Yatra. Jagannath Puri temple is located at Puri in Odisha.  It was built in the 12th century AD by Anant Varman Chodganga Dev, a king of the Ganga dynasty. It is one of the four Dhams in India i.e. Puri, Dwarka, Badrinath and Rameshwar. Lord Jagannath, Goddess Subhadra and elder brother Balabhadra are being worshiped in Puri. Several festivals of Shri Jagannath are celebrated during the year in Puri. Some of  which are Snan Yatra, Netrotsav, Rath Yatra (car festival), Sayan Ekadashi, Chitlagi Amavasya, Shri Krishna birth, Dussehra etc. The most important festivals are the world famous Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival) and Bahuda Yatra. It is located in  Vidyagiri hills  at the Jain pilgrimage site of  Shravanabelagola  in Karnataka. It is monolithic statue of the Jain  God Bahubali  (also known as  Gomateshwara) . It was built in 983 AD by the ruler and minister of the Ganga dynasty,  Chamunda-Raya.  The 57-foot piece of granite has been carved out to produce a majestic figure with half-closed eyes and a gentle, serene smile. The image of Bahubali is nude and stands tall facing north.
